How VELA Home Global handles enquiry and project information.
This policy explains the confirmed handling of contact details, BOQs, CAD files, drawings and other information submitted for a China sourcing enquiry.
Shenzhen VELA Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳市纬澜科技有限公司) operates VELA Home Global, signs the sourcing service agreement and receives the VELA service fee. Privacy requests can be sent to info@velahomeglobal.com.
1. Company information
The data controller for this website is Shenzhen VELA Technology Co., Ltd. (深圳市纬澜科技有限公司), registered in China at D502-C23, Chuangfugang, 5/F, Fude Center, No. 145 Longping East Road, Longgang Street, Longgang District, Shenzhen, Guangdong, China.
2. Information VELA may collect
When a buyer contacts VELA Home Global about a sourcing project, VELA may collect the buyer's name, email address, telephone number, WhatsApp number, country, project type, budget, destination and required dates.
Buyers may also submit project documents such as a BOQ, CAD file, PDF, Excel file, rendering or product list. VELA Home Global uses these materials to understand the requested scope and prepare the next sourcing or quotation steps.
3. Current contact and upload status
The current website directs project enquiries to email and WhatsApp. A website file-upload provider and storage region have not yet been selected, so the site should not activate a direct upload form until this policy is updated with the actual provider, storage location, file limits and security controls.
Email and WhatsApp process communications under their own privacy terms. Buyers should avoid sending information that is unrelated to the sourcing enquiry.
4. Access to submitted project information
VELA Home Global has confirmed that Alison is the internal person authorized to review contact details and project files submitted for an enquiry. Access should remain limited to the information needed to review and coordinate the project.
5. How the information is used
VELA Home Global uses submitted information to respond to the enquiry, understand the project, identify missing specifications, discuss the service scope, prepare supplier questions and manage an accepted sourcing project. Submitting an enquiry does not by itself create a paid sourcing contract.
6. Website analytics and cookies
The current Astro website source does not configure advertising pixels or behavioral marketing analytics. The hosting service and externally loaded services may still process standard technical information such as IP address, browser, device and request data needed to deliver and secure the website.
If VELA Home Global later adds non-essential analytics, advertising tools or a consent-dependent cookie, this policy and the website consent controls must be updated before that tool is activated.
7. Storage, retention and deletion
The future website upload provider, storage region and specific retention periods are not yet confirmed. VELA Home Global must add those details before launching direct website uploads. Until then, project files are handled through the contact channel chosen by the buyer.
A buyer may request access, correction or deletion by emailing info@velahomeglobal.com. Some information may need to be retained where an active contract, accounting record, dispute or legal obligation requires it; the applicable reason should be explained when a request is handled.
8. International communication
VELA Home Global operates from China and works with overseas buyers. Information sent by an overseas buyer may therefore be transmitted to and reviewed in China, as well as processed by the email, messaging or hosting provider used for that communication.
9. Policy updates
VELA Home Global will update this page when the contact form, upload service, storage provider, retention schedule, analytics tools or other material data-handling practices change. The date at the top of the policy identifies the latest published revision.
